Tabard

Description

On a dark blue field the tabard colors convey the Infantry branch where the band began. On a plate the boar’s head fimbriated the last adapted from James Olgethorpe’s crest, founder of the colony of Georgia which alludes to the home area of the 116TH Army Band.  The boar’s head is also of courage and ferocity. Below the boars’ head a white scroll reads “116TH ARMY BAND” in blue letters.
